Albert has countless Hobbies and Interests
It does give you an idea, why I simply never can get bored.
If you want to know more of any of the subjects, just send a Message to me.

Fermenting Sauerkraut and Vegetable
It was in 2017 when I started to ferment cabbage, as I seriously missed the fresh, raw home-made Sauerkraut we used to have in Styria/Austria. Since then, I practiced making Sauerkraut in many variants (I call them Edition) and I truely master the Fermentation of Sauerkraut.
Apart from Sauerkraut, I also ferment Garlic, Cucumber, Beetroot, Onion, Cauliflower, Carrots and Radish.
Raw Sauerkraut is part of our daily diet.

Fermenting Kombucha
It was in 2018 when I started to ferment Kombucha, to have another healthy compagnion to the Sauerkraut. Since then I make regularly Kombucha, at home (left side is 8 liter, right is 20 liter fermenter) and at the office (there is another 10 liter), and our family drinks at least a glass of fresh home-made unaltered natural Kombucha a day.
At the beginning we spent a lot of interest in the different tastes of the 2nd fermentation, but meanwhile we just add mint, marjoram, lemon borrage or nothing, chill it, and drink the healthy probiotic Kombucha natural tasting.

Sewing
In 2021 I bought my first Sewing Machine. Meanwhile I have 4 Sewing Machines (a Singer HD4432, a Singer HD6805C, a Singer Serger 14HD854 with all possible attachments/feet, and a Chinese Leather Shoe Patcher) , and I am sewing whatever needs to be done at home and have lots of creative ideas and projects.
There is rarely a weekend where there is not something to mend or alter, or a pouch or bag or any other item to make.

Audiobooks
It was at my business travelling time in the 1990’s when I discovered Audiobooks. I was “wasting” a lot of lifetime when travelling and found, with Audiobooks I could make at least 4 University Study Courses a year.
Now I have several Audiobook Players and you will have a hard time to meet we without having one with me.
I listen to interesting Subjects books, University Lecture Courses or Language Courses at any given time. Languages lessons I listen to most regularly are Chinese, Italian, Indonesian. And then of course still Meditation is a big subject in my repertoire. It is so great walking through a shopping mall with the Sony Active Noice Reduction Headset and listening to Meditation, calming, sounds or music.
To fall asleep with Meditation is so fast, that I often don’t remember what I wanted to listen to when I used the in-ear speakers to fall asleep. Music is a minor part on my players.

Online Gaming
I am the Chief of a Clan in Kingdom #648 of the Vikings, War of Clans, game. We have a great team of warriors and our Clan is the 2nd or 3rd strongest Clan in the Kingdom.

Gardening
When all the Covid Restrictions started, I converted the home balcony and the office balcony in a herbal garden. Till now we have regularly our own home-grown Basil, Mint, Sage, Marjoram, Lemon Borrage, Cuban Oregano and Pandan. At periods we have our own Kale and even Salad. I planted everything, from Cammomile, Chilandro, Parsley, Dill, Oregano, to even Capsicum and Onion … some with more, some with less success, but a great experience.
TENS, EMS, INF, RUSS
Since about 1982 I use regularly TENS Equipment, recently I got myself a more sophisticated System, that can do TENS (Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation) for treatment of acute pain issues, EMS (Electronic muscle stimulation is for muscle strength and against atrophy, INF is Interferential Therapy for localized healing support and RUSS Russian stimulation or neuromuscular electrical stimulation. It is used primarily for two reasons: 1) Strengthening skeletal muscle that has undergone atrophy; 2) Fatiguing hypertonic muscle to force it into relaxation
The short Clip here shows an EMS stimulation on my right Quads, 2s rise, 8s on, 1s fall, 32s off, 30Hz/300usec

Sound Healing
Tuning Forks
Healing Vibes
Recently I discovered the Tuning Forks and got a couple of them.
Here I show the Tuning Forks and their Medical Application. In a sub-page after this you see a collection of Sound Healing files that you may want to enjoy.

Body Massage, Anatomy & Physiology
I was always interested in anatomy, physiology and all medical subjects.
In 2021 I decided to make this more formal, and attended the ProTherapist Academy. There was two Diploma to be made in parallel, as the Diploma for Anatomy & Physiology was a prerequisite for the Diploma for Body Massage. I passed the Exams for both Diplomas with Honours and am entitled to wear the CIBTAC badge as seen on the picture above.
With this qualification, I can work as a Massage Therapist.
I do have a mobile Massage Table, in case that I can help you.

Longevity Capsules Making
Since 2016 we make regular batches of abt 2000 large Capsules filled with Turmeric, Ginger, Garlic, Pepper and more, and take them daily. Mona is helping in the manual batch manufacturing of 100pcs at a time. We do this for our own consumption (and a few friends 😉
The picture here shows finished capsules in the back and capsules filling in the front.

Engineering, Milling & Welding
I am Mechanical Engineer from Education (BULME Graz, 1972-1977), and I do drawings with TurboCAD.
In our ROTEQ/MILEQ Workshop we have a NC Milling machine (see pic) with plenty of attachments and tools, TIG Welding, Stick Welding, Soldering, Riveting, Thread Cutters, Ultrasonic Cleaner, 2ton Arbor Press, adjustable DC Power Supplies and lots of every kind of tool and equipment. I can even spot-weld battery tags, have a PC Oscilloscope, can do Nikel/Zink/Copper coating etc. I have a complete professional Tormek sharpening/wet grinding system for knifes and scissors. A collection of all interesting stuff for our own home/companies upkeep and for business projects. I have stock of electric switches, capacitors for fan motors, Stainless Steel Screws/Nuts up to M10, several 2-wire/3-wire cable types in any length, I fit BNC Connectors and repair/redo any other type of cable/switches etc.

Cooking
I am somehow in charge of the “Western Cooking” in our family. In our Kitchen is no Milk, no Sugar and no Bread, and we don’t do deep-frying. We cook only with Olive Oil and for salads use cold-pressed olive, avocado or walnut oils.
On the picture here you see a pan-fried Pork Cutlet, steamed Broccoli, Cauliflower and Carrots, Potatoes fried with Onions and a sunny-side up Egg with Herbs de Provence. This combined with a glass of Kombucha is a nice Sunday Lunch.

Metal Detecting
Several years back I found I need to do Metal Detecing, so I got myself a professinal system XP DEUS from France.
I have the whole set and bring it usually along on Holiday Trips to spend evenings/mornings on beaches or on fields, looking for interesting things (other than used batteries and bottle caps).
I confess I need to devote some more time to this, at least I do keep it charged 😉 Maybe I should visit our friends in Australia and look for Gold there 🙂
I did not mention yet Fishing, but I do have the PPCDL (Powered Pleasure Craft Driving License, required to be at the helm of a motor driven boat in Singapore) and we had a Skipjack, 24 foot boat. We bought Delfina in 1999 and sold her sometime in 2016, and since then fishing is not on the priority list, although I still have all the gear.
I also do not mention my IT Activities, I am member of Awesomesites in Singapore and recently attended their 3-day course on “AI Assisted WordPress Web Design” including AI generated Web Content and AI generated Photos. A basic WordPress course I did with them already some time ago. This Domain is my “practice Site”.
No, I don’t watch TV. I still remember the lession in the Bundeshandelsakademie (Commercial Academy – which I graduated also from) in Graz about Multimedia. This was in 1977, when we had a lesson that is in my brain today as it was then: How Media influence people. Since that lesson, TV is off-limits for me, I want to spare myself of that kind of psycho brain-washing. If I need to know something I look at it precisely targeted at the Internet, where I usually look at alternative sites opinion on a subject to make my “own picture” of a matter.
