I bought my first TENS Equipment as far back as 1984, a simple 2-port device, with batteries that ran for a year or so, and during my years in China I had this always in use and with me, specially during the sometimes lengthy travels. I loved (and still love it now) the electric muscle stimulation.
Over the past 30 years I used various TENS/EMS devices with Pre-Programmed modes and I always found a setting that I liked for a certain muscle or nerve part of my body.
I do have currently an equipment that can do all 4 modes, TENS, EMS, IF and Russian Stimulation. Not only does it have pre-programmed settings, I can even set my own Signal Rising Time, Holding time, Drop-Off time and Resting Time for each intervall and it has a huge range (TENS/EMS up to 900Hz and for RUS/IF up to 4500Hz) and a Pulse with can be set up to 300us.
This flexibility of the Equipment offered me now suddenly a more sophisticated look into the TENS, EMS and other Nerve or Muscle Stimulation effects and benefitgs.
Specially as these procedures have no side effects, no harmful medication needs to be taken, and only a few “restrictions” on the application have to be considered.
This is a collection of, what I consider educational/informational, Clips to the Subject Tens, EMS, IF and Russian Stimulation. If you are also interested in this, please feel free to watch, I do not represend any products nor do I take any responsibility for the content of these external Video Clips.

Don’t mind the equipment mentioning, any good TENS/EMS Device can achieve the same. Just focus on pad placement and timing/frequency setting so you can do this with your device.
I do listen to this gentlemen, and therefore I do use a Setting of 30Hz and 300us, 8s on and 32s off for my regular EMS.
I love this guy’s Videos … I studied all of them for my Diploma in Anatomy and Physiology.
I show this here to compliment the videos above that address the foot drop issue.
Have to work on this. Have on both feet the sensation on the inner two or three toes (big toe and next 1 or 2) that I step on a rope or sock or have a rubber band around the big toe’s base. No pain, only this weird feeling to have something underneath the toes. Cannot be from footwear but I feel I do have a rather thick skin growth underneath in this area. Will figure out the cause of this issue, specially as it is not every day the same strength of sensation.
